What you should know about submitting articles?

Sunday, February 28th, 2010

Marketers have discovered the efficiency of submitting articles to article directories to increase the business exposure of their company and increase traffic. There are not too complex mechanisms behind this approach, and any marketer who works online can put it to work. Article marketing becomes the perfect solution for a small company that lacks the a large advertising budget. There are options!

The most accurate business image can be achieved with professional web design. Create a good website!

Find the most relevant keywords for your product/service and perform search engine optimization around them.

Write informative articles around the same keywords.

The author box at the end of the articles should include one or two links to your website.

Distribute these materials on the world wide web. Provide content to the homepage but submit plenty of information to article directories too.

And your business will start growing in time if you keep submitting articles, because you will increase traffic and you will get a better page ranking with search engines. Here is why.

The articles that you submit are distributed around the web and used by other publishers on their websites. One way or the other you will get backlinks pointing to your page. The more backlinks, the higher the exposure. When there are lots of websites that include a link to your page, this means that from all the traffic that reaches those sites, some will be directed to your website.

This increase in popularity will not pass unnoticed with search engines. Google indexes pages based on links and popularity, meaning that the more references you have, the higher your page rank, and the better your position on result pages. When performing an online search a web surfer will get access to the most relevant results for his/her particular query. And you certainly want your site to be among those first results displayed to the user!

Your business evolution can significantly improve by submitting articles to article directories. Article marketing strategies insure a good business exposure level. Social networks, blogs, emails and press releases are other places for content dissemination that you can use besides submitting articles. Content defines these other web locations too. Make sure you monitor online business progress, so as to find the more or less favorable strategies and take action from there( atestate informatica).

When you’re hit with an Domain Tax Audit

Wednesday, February 24th, 2010

One of marketers’ greatest concerns is the threat of an IRS tax audit. A tax auditor is about as fearsome as a dentist weilding a drill preparing to give a root canal. The critical thing you can deliver during an IRS audit is remain calm and attempt not to give the IRS agent any cause to be more suspicious than he alreadyinherently is. Knowing tax concepts can be helpful with the domain trading tax guide.

That you’re audited does not actually mean you did anything unlawful. The IRS could simply desire to verify some receipts or other documentation for information included on your tax return. This type of tax audit, may be known as a correspondence audit, and is the most routine style of audit. It’s also the least scary type of IRS encounter – if there is such a thing.

Now that your return is going to be audited, the Internal Revenue Service will inform you about the specific areas of your tax return that will be examined. This makes the review process to be easier for the taxpayer, since you will have a very good idea of the supporting documents you need to prepare.

When you are served an exam notice, you want to decide whether you should to handle the review yourself or if you need to enlist the services of a tax Enrolled Agent. The important benefit to hiring a professional to assist you is that you have professional assistance through the audit process.

You may want to handle the audit yourself if you normally handle your own tax return and if you feel confident going through the process by yourself. The money component of the audit might also have influence on whether or not you hire a tax CPA. For example, if the amount that you could potentially owe the IRS is less than what it could cost to hire a tax advisor, potentially you should cut the cost of the advisor and represent yourself.

Determine whether you need to engage a tax CPA or represent yourself as quickly as possible so that there is time to get ready for the review. If you are representing yourself, then you will need to start getting the documentation together as soon as is possible. Procrastinating until the evening before the audit will only lead to more frustration. For situations as serious as a tax audit, you should be as ready as can be.

In the tax exam, only discuss the items of the tax return that are that were identified in the audit notice. Volunteering unnecessary information will lead to additional reviews. That, you don’t want.

How to Get Accepted Into CPA Networks

Friday, January 22nd, 2010

Joining the Cost Per Action networks is something that frustrates many marketers. That is because so many are used to the automatic acceptance that comes from most of the affiliate marketing networks. Cost Per Action networks are pickier because they want a higher quality marketer.

Still, you can get accepted! You will want to follow the methods below if you are not accepted (and even before that happens!) by the networks so you can begin making money from cost per action offers as soon as possible.

The first thing you need to do is pick the CPA networks you want to join. That’s right — you’re going to join a bunch. That’s because there are likely a wide variety of offers you want to pick from on the different CPA networks. Something that is offered on one CPA network might not be available on another network. But, you should pay close attention to offers that are available in more than one CPA network. That is because the commission may not always the same! You could find that the same exact offer pays quite a bit more on another network.

After you have determined which networks you want to apply to, go ahead and fill out their application form. They will likely ask you questions, such as how you intend on promoting their offers, where your main website is, how many visitors you generally receive, and other questions they want answered. These questions may be intimidating if you are just beginning, so just answer them to the best of your ability and know that this is not the be-all end-all.

Send the application, and be ready to wait up to a week or so to hear something back. Alternatively, you can just go ahead and call the Cost Per Action network to gain acceptance right away. A phone call is the magic answer in many cases. If you are taking the time to call them and discuss things over the phone, the managers will know that you are serious about this. You will often get accepted right on the spot!

Many networks are harder to get accepted into. When that happens to you, you might want to lay out the marketing plan you have developed to promote their offers. Often laying out a solid marketing plan will make the difference in getting accepted!

As a last means, you can contact a successful CPA affiliate so they can put in a good word for you. It usually does not come to this, however it never hurts to make these kind of contacts so you can make use of them if necessary in the future.

If you aren’t able to get into a particular CPA network right now, and you have tried everything, you’ll just have to move on and start with the networks you were accepted into. You can always reapply again once you have more Knowledge under your belt. They definitely will not turn down a person who is able to get sales for themselves and for the company! Remember — the networks are there to make money, so if you are able to help them make money they have no reason to turn you down.

How Affiliate Marketing Newbies Can Avoid Fatal Mistakes Online

Wednesday, January 13th, 2010

If you were to believe everything you read, see or hear on the internet in regards to making money, you would most likely end up in debt, dissapointed and angry because nothing worked as it should have. The truth is that it is much more easier to throw hype in someone’s face if there is no direct personal contact. This is why the use of hype is so common on the internet, more so than anywhere else in the business world.

To save yourself and choose a different path for your business, there are just a few principles that you need to remember. Following these principles will help you stay focused and on track.

1. Pick a niche and stick to it

Although it is wise not to have all your eggs in one basket, it is even better for begginers to focus on one thing and do their best to make it work. This will help you learn the ropes of online business, without going back and forth, from niche to niche, never really giving it 100% of your effort and time. Naturally, if something doesn’t work, it doesn’t work, but it takes time to see.

2. Choose a small niche and start from there

Many marketers go chasing after weight loss, internet marketing and other highly competitive niches. In my opinion, this is a big mistake, as it takes a considerable time for any real result to take place, and one of the most important things for a new marketer is to get proof that his efforts are really amounting to something. Choose a niche with medium or small competition and then work from there. My recommendation would be to focus on stuff like airsoft grenade launcher instead of weight loss or fitness.

3. Focus on a certain strategy or combination of strategies

You may choose to rely on just one thing like article marketing or blogging, as well as having more than one method of traffic generation, but whatever you do, make sure you stick to it without chasing after every new thing out there. Whatever method you choose, know that it works and all you really have to do is do more of it until you generate a sufficient income.

These are very important things to remember for any affiliate marketing begginer. Follow these guidelines and you should do very well online.

Marketing Tactics That Hurt

Monday, October 19th, 2009

It’s obvious that  marketing scams are a bad way to do business. But what about marketing techniques that are not scams, but insult the intelligence of your prospect? What’s the point in doing that? Indeed, do such techniques even work? That’s a good question.

You probably receive a number of emails every week, or possible even every day, offering you goods and services. Some of them come from people you know and trust and some may come from people you don’t know. So how do you react if those emails appear to be one thing, but in reality are actually another?

Here’s an example: how do you feel if an email advises you not to buy the latest product release, but further down the email they provide an affiliate link for you to purchase from? Do you realize that there’s a chance you’ve been pulled into it? Do you feel good that the marketer said one thing, but appeared to do another?

You see, good customer service is important after a sale, but it’s just as important before the sale too. So if you are an internet marketer and you’re tempted to copy some of the techniques and tactics you see in your own inbox, it might be worth thinking twice. Those big marketers have huge mailing lists and if they upset a lot of people there’s still going to be a lot of people who might be interested.

In other words even if big marketers do badly, they can still make a lot of money! That’s not necessarily the best model to copy. For starters, you might need a list of hundreds of thousands to make it work…

While it’s important to be aware of consumer behavior, that’s not a recommendation to take advantage of it. Marketing emails pretending to be concerned about a prospect don’t cut as much ice now as they used to. In the future I hope they’ll cut even less ice. And the good news bad news limited quantity email can only be used so often before your subscribers will see the pattern.

Treating your subscribers like intelligent human beings might not make you as much money today, but you’re far more likely to grow your business in a sustainable way and not have as much ‘churn’, or subscriber turnover. Remember that the best marketing technique is the one that makes a customer and keeps a customer.

So don’t think of your subscribers as a disposable asset, think of them as your best asset – one worth nurturing and protecting.

Mortgage Questions? Mortgage Architects have answers!

Sunday, July 12th, 2009

Most people who have a mortgage have questions that come up over time. With the mortgage borrowing rates posted on your banks front door going up and down it seems at the same time it can be a bit confusing.

In most cases those posters are made up my marketers who probably understand less about mortgages then you do.

In reality the home owner is focused on getting rid of the mortgage by paying it off faster than the lender would prefer. You have heard of mortgage burning parties when the home or farm owner finally gathers their friends and family around them burns the paper mortgage document because it is paid off. Home owner are certainly happy, but the lender who makes money by lending money certainly wished their relationship had not ended so soon.

In general many people take advantage of making extra payments to bring the principal amount borrowed down faster. The belief and it is correct, that the sooner it is paid off, the cheaper it will be.

But borrowers refinance for several reasons: to reduce the rate; reduce payments, reduce risk of future rate increases, and to sometimes raise cash.

Making extra payments has the effect of shorting the life of the mortgage which of course reduces its total cost. This most people understand instinctively because it is obvious that the shorter the mortgage is the less interest you pay and thus the cost must be less.

Mortgage Re-financing as a strategy to lower the cost on the other hand can work out if amount saves is less than the cost of re-financing and fees related to paying out the current mortgage.

The only way to answer those questions is to get the advice of a certified Mortgage Broker like Kelleway Mortgage Architects in Edmonton

Niche Ideas Galore – The Google Wonder Wheel

Tuesday, May 19th, 2009

Have you ever had trouble brainstorming niche ideas for your next website? Do you regularly suffer from analysis paralysis when sifting through long keyword lists? It’s about time you made things easier on yourself. Go graphical with your niche research and check out the Google wonder wheel

Niche marketing has really come of age in the last couple of years. Plenty of people have been making good money in niche marketing for some time and those people, being the early birds, made more money than most catching those worms. But don’t sweat it, there’s still plenty of room for everybody to get into the niche marketing game. The number of niches waiting to be tapped is endless.

One of the biggest problems many niche marketers face is actually coming up with ideas for new niches. It’s a bit like the writers block syndrome. Some days you just seem to have no inspiration whatsoever. Maybe you are suffering from analysis paralysis or maybe it’s the fact that you had one too many beers last night! Whatever it is Google is coming to your rescue.

Recently announced over at Google is this fantastic new tool which they are calling the Google wonder wheel. It’s a graphical representation of the relationship between key phrases associated with your initial query. It gives you a great insight into Google’s relational databases and you can see at a glance how Google thinks key phrases relate to each other. Can you say “create Seo friendly content easily”?

You simply tap in your top-level key phrase and the Google wonder wheel returns a graphical “wheel” of related terms. You can then drill down into these related terms as many levels as you like. The graphical nature of this interface makes it very easy to identify sub niches and subcategories inside your main niche. Drilling down through as few as three levels you will almost always find fantastic ideas for sub niches.

This stuff is just waiting to be monetised and I found it much easier navigating through the wonder wheel then painstakingly picking through CSV files downloaded from Google’s external keyword tool. I highly recommend you give it a try. I’m sure it will make your niche research efforts go much more smoothly.

How to best use your autoresponder for your email marketing campaigns.

Sunday, March 22nd, 2009

Studies show a potential visitor will take seven to nine messages before s/he becomes comfortable with you and eventually contacts or preferably buys your products or services. If you are left with only one marketing tool, what would you retain? Most marketers would say autoresponders or their email list. This tells you how serious you should treat your email marketing effort AND your autoresponder tool.

What is an autoresponder? An email autoresponder allows you to follow up your potential customers at a predefined timeframe automatically through emails. You may acquire this functionality by installing a script on your webhosting or you can acquire this function through third party autoresponder service providers Is your email autoresponder working as effectively as designed? What criteria should you consider when it comes to picking an email autoResponder? What is the single most important criteria when choosing your autoresponder service?

Three criteria you should consider before you invest your hard-earned cash in this vital marketing tool. A great deliverability is the most sought-after feature of any email autoresponder. Any internet user would receive tons of SPAM mails in their mail-box each day. If you use Gmail, you should be familiar with the screen shot below. There are 2808 spam emails in my Gmail account as at the time of writing. I will never read these emails. If you use some poor autoresponder service, your emails will automatically be streamed into these SPAM folders. You may ask, “What determines which email go to “SPAM” folder?” Unless you are gmail.com, you don’t know their “way of thinking”.

But definitedly you don’t want to be the one who emails the optins to their SPAM folder. But what is the main cause for your emails not being able to reach your targetted prospects or subscribers? There are many reasons why it is the case, but by far the most important reason is this: Is your autoresponder a self hosted script OR third party autoresponder service? As mentioned, you acquire your autoresponder function either by the script you hosted on your website or you may build your list and your autoresponder through a third party service provider. The mission of a third party autoresponder service providers is to deliver your emails. Why do I not recommend a self-hosted script which you can install onto your webhost?

The reason is one word: “SPAM”. Some of your subscribers will report you as SPAM, no matter how diligent and sincere you are with your email marketing campaigns. People just forget they sign up on your list. They will report your emails as SPAMs some day down the road. It’s just a matter of “when”, not “If”. When subscribers report your emails as spams, their internet service provider (ISP) may blacklist your future emails. This blocks your emails getting into their inbox in the future. I have previously used a hosted service, which had good results initially (for about 6 months). After a few of my ex-subscribers complaint me spamming them, my emails are not as effective as before. Treat email autoresponders service companies eat and breath on deliverability.

They ensure your emails get delivered. Some autoresponder service us claiming that it delivers 99.34%, meaning it their readers get 99 emails out of 100 emails! There are some free autoresponder services out there. I urge you not to waste your time finding or even trying one. Why? I have used those services and only found myself promoting someone!|s else services. Those free services basically send out your emails with their own embedded advertising. Your readers will read their ads first before your messages. If you are not serious about your business, use free autoresponsers. Price should be the least concern, as autoresponder is your lifeblood of your viral traffic. Usually a quality autoresponder costs around $20 a month.
